Up for grabs is the incredibly cool, incredibly rare fifth issue of Mad from EC comics in 1953. The first ever satire comic and the comic which would later become Mad Magazine. This has been in my collection for many years and has brought me much joy, but it is now time to let go (ideally: to a good home). This is not a mint book. The cover is loose but I think it’s still possibly loosely attached (I won’t be tugging on it to find out). The book has the wear/damage expected after 70 years, including some tape, tears, creases etc. In any case, this is a well presenting book with very vibrant color, and it looks super cool in person.
