Batman 23 CGC 2.0 with Off White Pages – Featuring a killer Golden Age Joker Cover. This book is restored, the label notes indicate that there is a piece added to the cover with tape; however as you’ll see in the graders notes, this piece is small and added to the back cover. Apparently so small that I didn’t even notice it prior to having it slabbed. In addition to the restoration, the back cover appears to have been used as a placemat for a child’s project, as there is a “foreign substance” of some sort strewn about it. So what you get with this book is a gorgeous front cover, much nicer than you’d usually find on a 2.0 and potential to remove the restoration and end up with a universal copy (if you were feeling so inclined to do so). Due to the consistent issues that I’ve had with imperfections in CGC cases, such as scuffs and scratches, I’m adding this statement to every one of my listings. I have inspected the front of this case and I’ve photographed the plastic imperfections that I was able to observe. That said, these imperfections can be difficult to see (even more difficult to photograph) and nearly imperceptible depending on the tilt and the way the light hits the case.
