We understand the importance of grading as it relates to value and cost. We have been collectors for years and there is nothing worse than receiving an item and the condition is less than expected. We offer our subjective opinion on the grade of a comic based on years of experience, comparison to each edition of the Overstreet Grading Guide, and comparison to to professionally graded comics by CGC, CBCS, and PGX. We also try to describe each comic and identify as many defects as possible. We note any restoration that we are aware, cut outs, missing pages or pieces, and any other defects that within reason might affect the grade. Most importantly we provide large scans of the front and back cover so that you may judge the condition and observe defects for yourself. However, ultimately, grading is subjective and people do not always agree on the grade and we sometimes miss some defects. We pack securely using multiple over sized pieces of corrugated cardboard placed in a manila envelope. On some occasions we further use a comic mailer or a box. Please feel free to ask any questions.
