According to comic book historian and author Ken Quattro. In 1950, a series of small comics were offered by the Metropolitan Printing Company. None of the comics has a price on the cover, which would suggest that they were giveaways. The comics themselves are oddly formatted, they measure 5 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, and while the cover is printed vertically, the interior and back cover are horizo. And the comics themselves were an interesting mix. GREEN JET and NEW WORLD COMICS , were apparent reprints of Spark Publications GREEN LAMA and ATOMAN respectively. The others were all new material. There was one Western entitled, BOOTS AND SADDLES , and two humor comics: MY PAL DIZZY and TALULLAH. These books are highly collectible and hard to find especially in a complete set, only a few books of each exist on the CGC census. Please see pictures and/or video for overall condition.
