This Golden Age comic Marvel contains stories featuring the Human Torch and Toro , the Sub-Mariner , Miss America , the Patriot , and the Angel (with early art by Carmine Infantino), and has an action-packed cover by famed Marvel artist Alex Schomburg. It would be a great addition to the collection of any Marvel, Human Torch, Namor, or Golden Age comics collector. This comic is in VG+ 4.5 condition. It both looks and feels fantastic for a book that is over 70 years old. It shows typical spine and edge wear for a well-kept Golden Age comic. It has a few small chips missing from the edges of the front and back cover, and both the front and back cover have an approximately 1″ tear by Toro’s legs on the front, and by “Ready Soon! The cover is still attached (but loose) at the staple, and features bright colors. All pages (which are cream in color) are firmly attached at the staple, complete, and retain good color.
