I’m very tempted to send it in to CGC, but ultimately i’m just too lazy and it takes too long. The condition is amazing for such a rare book! Worst is a tiny piece out, back cover, top, near the spine top. Then a very small little rip on the front cover, above the Y in the title. Inside the book, a very small rip on the last page, facing the inside back cover, not that big a deal. And lastly, a little “pinch” at the very top, center of the front cover, and some small wear from that which can be seen on the first few pages only; again not that big a deal. Apart from these mostly small items of wear, this is a crazily sharp, crisp, supple copy, you will “ooh and aah” as you slide it out of its bag! Tight and flat and square, w/sharp edges. Colors are deep and bright, and the comic has very good gloss. A freakishly well preserved golden age’r! Structurally very tight CF, staples, etc. Overall the book is gorgeous! Btw, this book features great art, cover and inside; contains 1 pg. Alex toth art, too. Off-white/light cream pgs, tending towards medium cream at the edges. Fairly typical for a book from the 40’s, but some would deem the somewhat dark pgs. I think the page color is a little darker than it shows in the pix. Come and get it; it’s a jaw dropper!
