EC Comics Haunt of Fear 28 Pre-Code Golden Age Comic Cryptkeeper Horror NR. Found in a trunk of a house cleanout with lots of other old comics and magazines. Issue was stored in a stack with the front cover partially displaced to the left, hence the exposure of the first page on the right side. Mild color bleeding into the white lettering near top right corner. All of it is there, but I know better than to try and hide/restore this roll myself. Other than that and some mild stress breaks in color, a nice, complete copy of a famous comic series in an important era of comics. Please examine photos carefully to assess condition. As I do cleanouts and sell the stuff I find, I try to describe things as accurately/and thoroughly as possible to avoid extra hassle–my game is not to maximize income but to balance time and income. As such, please know I tend to lean conservative in my condition descriptions. As I know this is a valuable-ish comic, please contact me with any questions or to request more pictures. Comic will be sleeved and boarded and taped shut. The sleeve used is for a magazine so is larger than intended for comics–i do this to avoid “stuffing” a delicate comic into a tight fit. The boarded/sleeved comic will then be placed between two pieces of rigid cardboard and placed in a padded mailer.
