THIS STORE ITEM -ADVENTURE COMICS #49 April’40. Great piece of DC golden age history with a little restoration work. The cover is done by Sheldon Moldoff. Features the second appearance of The Hourman by Bernard Bailey. Great Sandman story by Gardner Fox. Plus a full page add for the “Big Six” of DC comics. This book is solid with off white pages that are all firmly attached. There is a slight amount of yellowing at the very edge of interior pages. The book is easily handled and read. The interior portions of the front and rear covers have tanning but it is evenly spread so that no particular area is darker than the other. The book has some low to moderate very professional restoration work in that small pieces have been added to the front and rear covers along with color touches. The spine has some reinforcement work. All payments must be made in US funds. There are no other options. Please do not inquire about alternate, less expensive methods.
