Action Comics #96 in Very Good Plus (4.5) condition. This book has great eye appeal but has a manufacturing error that bring down the grade. The centerfold is detached at the top staple and all the pages behind it have no holes in them where the staple should be so the second half of the book and the back cover were never stapled properly when being manufactured. The front cover has some moderate creasing but only has one that breaks the color (by Superman’s right leg, see pictures). The bottom staple is slightly rusted at the bottom and there’s very minor rust migration on the spine. Top edge wasn’t cut straight and there’s a minor crease in the top right corner. 12.00 & 1946 written lightly in pencil on the back cover (see pictures). Back cover is nice with just an abraded lower right corner and a slight color rub just above it. Some minor to moderate creasing on the back cover. Nice soft off-white pages.
