Up for sale is a Pre Robin last Non Batman Cover, Golden age Book from 1939. This issue marked just the 8th-ever appearance of the legendary Batman, and this is the very last non-Batman cover in the run. This December 1939 issue also features a classic Batman Origin splash panel used later in Batman #1. The image of Batman on the first page of this issue was combined with the panels showing Batman’s origin from Detective Comics #33 to create the origin story in Batman #1, which is the version most people are familiar with as it has been reprinted probably dozens of times over the past 80 years.
